You’re Retired. Now What?

One of the big surprises in retirement is having extra time but no clear passion to fill it.

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

A good place to start is by thinking about what you don’t enjoy.

That simple step makes it easier to spot activities that might actually interest you.

Then, just start experimenting.

Take a class, try gardening, pick up a paintbrush, or join a walking group.

The goal isn’t to be perfect, it’s just to see what feels fun.

Most new hobbies feel a little awkward in the beginning, so give them some time before deciding they’re not for you.

And remember, sharing the experience with others can make it even more rewarding.

It’s also perfectly fine to have a mix of activities rather than one big passion,  variety can keep life fresh.

Retirement is your chance to explore.

You might be surprised by what you discover when you give something new a try.
